This journey’s itinerary and respective progression offer an exciting opportunity for participants at any level to visit and experience the gems of Kefalonia’s coastline!

We plan for a total of 6 overnights in beautiful double occupancy rooms /apartments.
Note that the last night’s accommodation (after the last paddling day) is also included.
More specifically, for this journey we plan:
3 overnights at Trapezaki (Arrival day and the two last days)
2 overnights at Fiskardo
1 overnight at Assos

  • Day_1: Arrival day
A pick up from the airport or bus station is arranged and a short drive for a check in to our accommodation, our first overnight near Trapezaki area.
  • Day_2: Briefing, preparation and transfer to Fiskardo
We meet at our base where we are going to familiarize with our boats and gear. We set our meeting for around midday (after lunch) in order to have time to get to know the team, discuss, prepare and plan for the following days! After all preparations are complete we get transferred to Fiskardo, arriving early afternoon  with plenty of time to explore. We set in for our first of the two overnights at the picturesque village.
  • Day_3: Fiskardo round trip _5NM (9K)
This is our first paddling day and we take full opportunity of the tranquil coastline around Fiskardo to familiarise and play with our boats as well as learn and develop our paddling skills. Our itinerary is very flexible and we plan according to  our team’s and weather’s moods!
  • Day_4: Fiskardo to Assos _10NM (19K)
Paddling out of the picturesque village of Fiskardo and past the old lighthouse we warm up as we make progress along the north part of the island. After Dafnoudi beach our headings change to a more southern direction and quickly the first sight of the west coast’s magnificence is possible. Assos’ peninsula can also be seen in the distance, our destination for the day. We take our time though as along this day’s journey the exploration of the coast is beyond rewarding. The overnight at Assos is just icing on the cake!
  • Day_5: Assos to Ag.Kiriaki _10NM (19K)
A truly special stretch of the west coast is ahead! Launching our sea kayaks from Assos in the morning we enjoy a different view of Assos bay, under early morning light this time. Paddling around the peninsula and the medieval castle is the first leg of our journey. Soon after, we paddle along the rugged landscape near the popular Myrtos beach and we explore the secluded beaches and coastal features created by the interaction of limestone and water, only accesible to us sea kayakers and to enjoy our way! The last stretch of the day finds us paddling along the beautiful inaccessible beaches before Zola’s little port.
  • Day_6: Fteri & Amidi round trip_8NM (15K)
This day we set out to explore the coastline around the nowadays renown Fteri beach. We start from Zola’s port and reach the headland just after Amidi beach, enjoying an absolute stunning stretch of limestone and calcium carbonate (chalk) cliffs that create an incredible coastal scenery.
  • Day_7: Check out and departure
