Using our contact form to enquire for a course or journey, you are providing us with your name and email address. We use this data in order to reply, contact you and answer your questions and help you through the process of booking an activity with us. We save this data in our contacts email lists for future arrangements, reference and confirmation until the completion of your participation in our activities. We then either store this information safely or erase it.

No one. Your email address and name is used, handled and processed only by the person/employee replying to your emails from Odysea office. The only occasions that we will share your data with a third party will be when you have completed a physical or pdf participation form for us. Then you will be specifically informed about how we use those data after you submit the completed participation form to us. Then the third party will be either British Canoeing Awarding Body for processing your membership, certification or awarding, either a partner company or coach for administrative purposes.

How long we retain your data

This will be as long as we need them for all administrative purposes. We keep your contact stored in our email addresses lists for as long as we need to keep communication with you, regarding your booking or replying to any coaching related questions and feedback. After that, we either delete you from our lists or store your information separately if you opt to.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
